Also, tied into all of that, you can also find a great deal many parks/greenspaces scattered throughout the city for you to be able to use (many of them have walking/cycling trails as an added bonus). The city also is home to a great deal many schools, for the value of education is always an important matter, and you¿ll also come across a couple of golf courses at which you can improve your swing or play a couple of games at. The many highways that are found around the outskirts of Hamilton serve as the ultimate transportation through and out of the city: the Highway 403 (which runs through the western side of the city) can take you between Toronto and all the way to Windsor, while the Queen Elizabeth Way (which the Highway 403 splits from just north of Hamilton) can take you eastward to Niagara Falls. The Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway runs along the southern part of Hamilton, then curves northward and meets the Queen Elizabeth Way (essentially, this highway is meant to allow for very easy access to the southern parts of the city without having to navigate a half a dozen minor roadways to get to it). The GO trains also have a major stop right in the heart of the city called Hamilton GO Centre, which is essentially the ultimate stop for people to be able to hop on a GO train and take it out of the city of Hamilton and to virtually any other part of southern Ontario (even as far away as places like Oshawa and Kingston).
